Prayers for Nolan

Hey friends!  

This blog is to ask for prayers for some friends of ours, Craig and Angela.  Their little boy, Nolan, is in the ICU right now at Clarian North.  He went in to have tubes put in his ears on Tuesday and has had a rough time ever since.  His ears are doing well, but he has been struggling to keep anything down and has had trouble breathing on his own.  

After two evenings in the ER, Nolan's pediatrician admitted him to the hospital.  This morning he was moved to the ICU.  He is on oxygen but his sats have dipped into the 70s despite being on max oxygen by nasal canula.  They moved him to the ICU so that he can be on vapo therm (which allows him to get even more oxygen).  He is currently on 10 liters of oxygen and getting albuterol every 2 hours (which is frequent), and they added another medication, ipratropium, every 4 hours.  A chest xray yesterday showed a viral process which had changed from Wednesday's xray.  He has been swabbed for the flu twice, but both were negative.  The doctor still hasn't ruled that out though.  

Please pray for little Nolan to get stronger with the medications and oxygen, and also for Craig and Angela, who haven't had time to get much rest obviously throughout this whole week.
