It's hard to believe it's almost June.  Seems like the month of May flew by.  Over the weekend we went to Grand Rapids with my sister and brother-in-law for my cousin Matthew's wedding.  It was nice to see some of our family and it turned out to be a beautiful day.  The ceremony was outside and it was just gorgeous!

We've been taking Barkley on walks around our neighborhood and it is pretty entertaining.  He doesn't really like his collar or leash.   Here is what he did the first time we tried to take him on a walk.

He then proceeded to hide under a bush before we could bribe him with his stuffed soccer ball.  Once he got the hang of it though, he cooperated for a little bit :)

He also likes to play basketball with us an the neighbor's kids. He LOVES to be outside.  Sometimes it's hard to tell if he needs to go out to potty or if he just wants to go outside :)

It's Showtime!

I spent most of my weekend at my sister's rehearsal and recital.  The show went well with a few glitches here and there.  I didn't get a chance to take any pictures at the recital, but I took some at the rehearsal on Saturday.  These are the girls from my "Cheer Tots" class that I teach on Wednesday nights.  Most of the other instructors think i'm crazy, but I LOVE teaching this class.  Of course it's not always easy with the younger ones saying, "Miss Steffany, I have to go potty" every few minutes, but it's a lot of fun in the end.  The girls are pretty good overall and they definitely will put a smile on your face!  They all did a great job at the recital.  You never know what to expect from the 3-4 year olds--I was so proud of them!  Here are some pictures.

Busy with Barkley

Barkley has been keeping me busy.  He really is a sweet puppy.  He loves to play (and chew), but he also loves to sleep (typical Bulldog style).  We went to the vet today for his shots and he is now 12 lbs.  He's already growing so fast!  Enough of the boring stuff, here are some pictures.  I've taken just a few ;)

Our Mother's Day

Today is International Babylost Mother's Day (the first Sunday in May).  To all of my dear friends who have suffered a loss, Happy Mother's Day to you.  I hope you also find a way to remember and celebrate your little one on Mother's Day next Sunday.  

I am so thankful for the support that I have and for the friends that I have met and/or reconnected with throughout this journey.  I am so lucky to have so many wonderful people in my life.    I love you all!
